Troubleshooting
Problem
Error partitioning when installing IBM Security Guardium
Symptom
When installing and attempting to partition the following error is seen:
Partitioning failed: could not allocate partitions as primary partitions. Not enough space left to create partition
for /boot.
Resolving The Problem
This may be caused by using an older ISO. There are often hardware driver changes when new hardware is used which may not be compatible with older ISOs. Ensure the latest ISO is used when attempting to install to utilize the latest drivers and prevent partitioning errors
