Replication programs do not recognize when they lose their DB2 instance attachment. They repeatedly attempt to run the monitor function and display ASN0552E SQLCODE -1427 or SQLCODE -1428 messages. Problem Conclusion: Replication programs will attempt to attach to the DB2 instance where their control tables are defined one time if their DB2 instance attachment is lost.
