Question

How should I configure my Guardium deployment when installing on large disks?

Cause

Starting in version 10.0.1, disk sizes greater than 2 TB (terabytes) and up to 6 TB are supported. Larger disks may hold more audit records for longer periods of time but are more likely to impact performance. For this reason, Guardium Development would like to review your hardware plans before you install.

Answer

Before doing any installation, fill out the Word Document Hardware Assessment Form attached below. Then open up a PMR with IBM Support and submit the assessment with the PMR. Your plan will be reviewed by Guardium Development. You will receive feedback about your deployment.
