Problem
Trying to add a Query calculation in Cognos Analytics 11 reporting shows no functions at all below 'Avalable Components'. Instead of the function list 'Functions metadata not available.' is displayed.
Symptom
Trying to add a Query calculation results in: Functions metadata not available.
Resolving The Problem
To see the available functions list our product needs to have information about the package and the datasource.
Solution:
Please select a package before adding a 'Query calculation' in reporting and Cognos Analytics will show the functions. Now they can be used in the expression.
