Problem

Get error - This page can't be displayed from launch page

Symptom

Get error - This page can't be displayed from launch page

Cause

Somehow the JDBCService.xml under <cc_install_dir>/conf/services/system was not updated correctly. You can find "<location/>" in JDBCService.xml and change it to "<location>none</location>", this should resolve the liberty cannot be started issue.

Resolving The Problem

1. Stop the Control Center engine.
2. After Control Center stop, use "ps -ef | grep java" check whether there is alive java process. If there is, kill it.
3. Goto cc_install_dir>/conf/services/system in JDBCService.xml file change "<location/>" to "<location>none</location>".
4. Start Control Center.
5. Monitor the messages.log under <cc_install>/web/wlp/usr/servers/defaultServer/logs to see whether it is updated.
