Should I set the DB2 for z/OS DESCSTAT parameter for use with Guardium ?
Answer
On DB2 for z/OS, set the subsystem parameter DESCSTAT to YES.
DESCSTAT corresponds to installation field DESCRIBE FOR STATIC on panel DSNTIPF.
This step is necessary for SQLJ support.
Follow these steps:
1) Ensure that the DSNZPARM DESCSTAT is set to YES.
2) Re-run the DSNTIJMS install job
3) Refresh the WLM application environment:
V WLM,APPLENV=<wlmenv>,REFRESH
