How do you determine the default naming of flows between objects and classes in IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Cause

You are unsure of the convention for naming of flows

Answer

  • When the flow is drawn between flowports on classes/blocks, the flows are connected to the flowports and the flowport names are used as a name for the flow.

  • When the flow is drawn between flowports on objects/parts, the flows are connected to the objects/parts via the flowports and the object/parts name are used as the name for flow.
