How to check the status of a Tracked Resource Set (TRS) rebase in IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next

Question & Answer

Question

Sometimes it is necessary to perform a manual Rebase of the Tracked Resource Set data in IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (DN), performed in the rm/admin -> DEBUG -> Tracked Resource Set. The user interface shows a message upon completion. It is no longer possible to fetch the status once the user navigates away from the page.

Cause

The user interface does not provide a status upon visiting the page in the event a rebase was already initiated.

Answer

The Rebase status can be displayed by going to http{s}://<DNG_Hostname>:<port>/rm/admin#action=com.ibm.rdm.fronting.server.web.trs

In the example, a TRS 1.0 Rebase was started on January 14, 2016 6:05:51PM EST and the report shows that the Rebase is still running as indicated in the "TRS 1 rebase end time".

Is rebase in progress (blocking) = true

Dispatcher events pending = false
Unprocessed TRS events total = 0

TRS 1 activity count = 1
TRS 2.0 activity count = 0

TRS 1 rebase start time = January 14, 2016 6:05:51 PM EST
TRS 1 rebase end time= running...

TRS 2.0 rebase start time = N/A
TRS 2.0 rebase end time = N/A

TRS 2.0 base set members = 0

TRS 2.0 Projects expected in the full rebase = 0

TRS 2.0 Projects already completed in the full rebase = 0
