Troubleshooting
Problem
Using the IBM Rational DOORS 9.6.1.4 client, there is an issue with following links (both in-links & out-links) via the link indicator.
Cause
This has been identified as a product defect under APAR PI53057
Diagnosing The Problem
How to reproduce the problem:
- Open a source or target formal module
- Right-click on a link arrow
- Move and hold the cursor over the Object ID portion of the link path and wait until “spinning circle” stops spinning (approx. 1 second)
Note: the waiting period is essential here - Left-click (select) the Object ID of the link
- Note: Nothing happens – the source/target module does not open
Resolving The Problem
The defect has been resolved in iFix 9.6.1.6: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27036720#9616
Please upgrade to IBM Rational DOORS client 9.6.1.6 or newer.
