Problem
How to change the language within Framework Manager to be different to the language of the rest of the system. By default Framework Manager takes the language of the Operating System on which it is installed. For Example: A new installation on a French server, Framework Manager required to be in English to be uniform across an organisation. It is required that only the Framework Manager UI language be changed.
Cause
Regional settings on server during Framework Manager Installation.
Resolving The Problem
Settings within the Framework Manager BMT.ini file must be altered to reflect desired language change.
1)Open BMT configuration file located under <Framework_Manager_Install>\Configuration\BMT.ini in a text editor.
2)Under the Section name "BMTUI" edit the line:
<Preference Name="ProductLocale">fr</Preference>
To:
<Preference Name="ForceProductLocale">en-us</Preference>
3)Alternate languages are also available. For example to change the language to German, alter the setting to read:
<Preference Name="ForceProductLocale">de</Preference>
3.1)"Force" is added to the setting to force Framework Manager to take a different language to that of the operating system on which it is running.
4)Save the BMT file and open Framework Manager.
