What Linux libraries need to be installed before installing ClearCase V8.0.1.9 and later versions?
Answer
The problems that are described in tech notes http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21683161 and http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21691816 have been fixed in ClearCase 8.0.1.9. To support the fix, you must install the 32-bit libmount library on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 before installing ClearCase 8.0.1.9. This prerequisite also applies to all versions of ClearCase later than 8.0.1.9.
