• The pasted excel data to CATDrawing by OLE is
  broken
  Scenario:
  1- File / Open CATDrawing file
  3- Set Show Preview to ON
  4- Select the CATDrawing file
  Result:
  You see that the excel data on the left of the
  drawing are present
  5- Select Open
  Result:
  Excel data cannot be seen in the drawing
  .

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
  CATIA
  Incident Diagnosis
  Pointed Excel data is not seen (one feature in the
  drawing does refer to the Excel data)
  Restriction Explanation
  More precisely, this feature refers to an entry in a
  link table that is supposed to embed OLE data.
  But the corresponding entry in the link table does
  not exist  anymore, as if it was not refered. Thus,
  OLE data has been deleted.
  The entry should still exist as it is still refered. But
  we need the whole scenario that created your data
  to fix the bug.
  Anyway, it is impossible to retrieve your Excel data
  since it has been deleted. The preview you can see
  in the file selection is only a stored picture of the
  data.
