How do you download software from Passport Advantage?
Answer
Here are the instructions to access Software downloads and Account management using the Software and services tool.
- Access the IBM Passport Advantage "Software and services tool" at http://www.ibm.com/software/passportadvantage/pao_customer.html and select "Customer sign in".
- If you already have an IBM ID and password created elsewhere on ibm.com, you can enter these into the fields for "IBM ID" and "Password".
If you do not, create them now by selecting the "register" link on the sign in page and completing the necessary information on the next page. - You will be prompted to enter your temporary passcode from your Welcome Letter. Full access to the "Software and services tool" requires an IBM Temporary passcode, otherwise limited access to Software downloads will be allowed.
- Once you have been granted access, there are several options for finding available download packages. You will only be able to download products which are part of your company’s entitlement.
- Download fixes from Fix Central
- Email gentleg@us.ibm.com (Gentran Legacy) for IBM Sterling Legacy software version products/fixes
