Problem

Attempts to install IBM Sterling Order Management 9.4 using Installation manager V1.6.2 leads to the message IBM Sterling Order Management Enterprise Edition 9.4 installation package requires Installation Manager version 1.7.3 or later

Symptom

The complete message is as follows:
"IBM Sterling Order Management Enterprise Edition 9.4" installation package requires Installation Manager version "1.7.3" or later. The running Installation Manager is version "1.6.2"

Cause

Product does not support Installation Manager V1.6.2.

Diagnosing The Problem

The system requirements mentions Installation Manager V1.6.2 as supported

Resolving The Problem

Install the 1.7.3 version of Installation Manager and proceed with the installation.
