Problem
Attempts to delete Orthogonal state from statechart diagram in IBM Rational Rhapsody results in the following error "Cannot delete orthogonal states"
Symptom
You receive the following error message
Cause
It is not possible to directly delete an orthogonal state as they are AND states
Resolving The Problem
You may delete a state that is present by selecting the preceding AND line, It would then delete the Orthogonal state
PROCEDURE to delete the Orthogonal state:
- Right Click on AND line and Delete from Model.
This would delete the corresponding Orthogonal state.
