Abstract

IBM Content Navigator is delivered on a continuous basis. Therefore, the two most recent Mod releases as well as the latest Long Term Support Release (LTSR) are actively supported. IBM Content Navigator (ICN)--including desktop components such as Sync and Microsoft Office Integration--is delivered as a component in a number of IBM bundles, including IBM FileNet Content Manager, IBM Content Foundation, IBM Content Manager, and Content Manager OnDemand. To allow for rapid feature delivery, ICN is released on a more frequent basis than some of the products with which it is bundled. As a result, the support policy for ICN is driven by the ICN release cycle and not by the release cycle of the products with which ICN is bundled.

The status of the IBM Content Navigator releases is

  1. IBM Content Navigator V2.0.2 or older releases went to End of Support on 31 December, 2017. Refer to the following link for details: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/296189.
  2. IBM Content Navigator V2.0.3 went to End of Support on 30 April, 2019.  Refer to the following link for details: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/568837.
  3. Support for IBM Content Navigator V3.0.x releases is dictated by the IBM continuous release support policy. New APAR fixes are delivered on top of the two most recent Mod releases and on the active Long Term Support Releases (LTSR). A Mod release is indicated by the third component in the release-numbering scheme; that is, the "x" in the 3.0.x release number.
