Propagate the JDBC Driver from a Guardium Central Manager to the Managed Units

Troubleshooting


Problem

A new JDBC driver has been uploaded to the Central Manager. The driver has been tested and now it needs to be made available on the Managed Units

Resolving The Problem

- Sign onto the Central Manager as an admin

- click on <Administration Console> on the top tabs

- click on <Central Management> on the left pane

- select "Central Management" in the left window

- select the Managed Units you want the JDBC driver installed on and click on "Distribute Uploaded Jar Files"

Once the distribution completes, all the JDBC drivers from the Central Manager will be available on the Managed Units.
