HD73357: GSD: PART REMAINS IN UNUPDATED STATUS

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible in next release.

Error description

• SCENARIO:
  1) Open "Part1.CATPart" W/B GSD.
  2) Double click "Surface Connection Analysis.2" in
  tree. Migration To New Connect Checker Analysis"
  window is displayed.
  3) Click "Yes". "Connect Checker" window is
  displayed.
  4) Click "OK" in the "Connect Checker" window.
  5) Double click "Plane.1" in tree. "Plane Definition"
  window is displayed.
  6) Key-in 10mm as "Offset".
  7) Click "OK". Unupdated symbol on "Part1" is not
  removed even if update mode is Automatic. This is
  problem.
  8) Click "Update All" icon.  Unupdated symbol
  on "Part1" is not removed. This is problem.

  PROBLEM:
  The status of the Part remains unupdated.
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  Unupdated symbol on Part should be removed
  automatically after feature is modified.
  And also Unupdated symbol on Part should be
  remove when "Update All" command is launched.

• THE PROBLEM WAS SUBMITTED ON CATIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 18.
  THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON CATIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 GA LEVEL.
  AND ON V5R18SP05
  Incident Diagnosis:
  When the offset value for plane is changed then the
  staus of the part remains unupdated. The staus of
  the part remain unupdated when input of connect
  checker is modified.
  .
  Reason:
  The problem is not reproducible on R19 GA & R18
  SP05 level. When the input of connet checker &
  plane is changed then the part is well updated &
  status of part is updated.
  .
  Additional Information:
  The problem is reproducible on reported level i.e.
  R18 SP04. However problem is not rerpoducible on
  R19 GA & R18 SP05 level.
