This document provides a list of all APAR'S fixed in any 7.1.x release level of IBM Spectrum Protect™ for Virtual Environments: Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V

Tip: Beginning with Version 7.1.3, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments is now IBM Spectrum Protect™ for Virtual Environments. Some applications such as the software fulfillment systems and IBM License Metric Tool use the new product name. However, the software and its product documentation continue to use the Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments product name. Note: Version 7.1.1 is the initial release of the component Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V.

Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V APAR's in V7.1.3.x, V7.1.4.x, V7.1.6.x and V7.1.8.x
- For the Fix packs V7.1.3, V7.1.4, V7.1.6 and V7.1.8 and Interim Fixes V7.1.4.x and V7.1.6.x all fixed APARs belong to the Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V functional component Data Mover.

- The V7.1.6.2 Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V was repackaged to include the V7.1.6.2 Backup-Archive Client. This V7.1.6.2 Backup-Archive Client includes the APAR fixes of IT15769 and IT15975.
Note: In a Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V environment, the Data Mover is the IBM Spectrum Protect Backup-Archive Client
IBM Spectrum Protect API APAR's and Backup-Archive Client APAR's in V7.1.x
Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V requires the IBM Spectrum Protect Application Program Interface (API) package as well as the IBM Spectrum Protect Backup-Archive Client package.
Thus some APARs fixed in the API or Backup-Archive Client may be relevant for Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V also. Both packages are available independent of the IBM IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments product.
