How to create an Internal Behavior element for AUTOSAR_40 profile in Rational Rhapsody

Question & Answer

Question

How do you create an Internal Behavior element for AUTOSAR_40 profile in IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Cause

You are unable to locate Internal Behavior element under Internal Behavior diagram of AUTOSAR_40 profile but same is available in AUTOSAR_32 profile

Answer

In AUTOSAR_40 the Internal Behavior element it is located in the SoftwareComponentDiagram toolbar.

This is because in AUTOSAR 40 there has been a change in the metamodel and InternalBehavior (now called SwcInternalBehavior) is owned by an Atomic Software Component (for example Application Software Component)

Also the Internal Behavior is known as Software Component Internal Behavior
