Error description

• Scenario:
  (This scenario reproduced only with specific set of
  CATSettings)
  1. Start CATIA V5R18SP03.
  2. System will show you warning message informing Virtual
  Memory
  Minimum Too Low?
  3.The memory usage goes upto 12.3GB while starting CATIA.
  Also it does not get released once CATIA starts.

  Expected result:
  Memory requirement should be normal. Also it should be
  released after starting CATIA.

Problem conclusion

• THE PROBLEM WAS SUBMITTED ON :
  CATIA VERSION V5R18.
  THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
  CATIA VERSION V5R21 GA level
  CATIA VERSION V5R19 SP8.
  CATIA VERSION V5R20 SP2.
  Additional Closure Information:
  Scenario reproduced on reported V5R18SP03  level (WINDOWS 64
  Bit). Scenario does not reproduce on above mentioned levels.
  .
  Incident Diagnosis
  FrameConfig.CATSettings file consumes much memory when a
  CATIA session is started.
  .
  Correction Explanation:
  Delete old CATSetting to get expected behavior.
  In case user wants to use old CATSettings, warning message
  will appear for first time. This new CATIA session will
  correct existing FrameConfig.CATSettings. Further CATIA
  session (even after restart of computer) wont give similar
  memory warning trouble.
