Error description
When sending requests to a Web Service Proxy, the "Rejected by filter" fault might be returned. The default-log shows: - the default rule is used instead of the expected request or response rule. - the "Rejected by the default filter." error.
Local fix
If the operation used for the request shows the following WS-I BP violation: R2710 The operations in a wsdl:binding in a DESCRIPTION MUST result in operation signatures that are different from one another. then fixing this violation works around this issue.
Problem summary
The user observed 'failed default filter' error, when sending SOAP requests with attachments using MTOM to a Web Service Proxy. This issue was caused by an error differentiating SOAP content type when using MTOM.
Problem conclusion
