Question
What is the purpose for the files of type "o1000001.dtc" in the database directory for IBM DOORS?
Cause
There are a number of these 1KB files in the data directory and it is unclear what these files are used for and if they can be in the database.
Answer
The onnnnnnn.dtc files contain the current options that you specify including display colors and fonts.
These options are set from the Tools > Options menu.
These options are set from the Tools > Options menu.
There is one *.dtc file per DOORS user.
An internal backup of *.dtb is automatically created for each file.
