Question
How do you remove an unneeded version of IBM Rhapsody from the Microsoft Visual Studio integration?
Cause
Multiple Rhapsody versions may be integrated to Microsoft Visual Studio if you have installed more than one version of Rhapsody in your machine. However, only one should exist to avoid potential problems with the Rhapsody and Visual Studio integration.
Answer
You should remove the unneeded integration of Rhapsody version and Visual Studio with below steps.
- Open option dialogue by click Tools > Option menu in Visual Studio
- Remove the unneeded Rhapsody version from Add-in File Paths setting in the environments > add-in/Macro security Options
- Remove the below references within the registry
[32 bit Visual Studio]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\AutomationOptions\LookInFolders
[64 bit Visual Studio]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\AutomationOptions\LookInFolders
