Error description
APAR IC60425 explains that 64-bit versions of Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail: Data Protection for Lotus Domino on Windows cannot restore Domino databases if they are backed up from a 32-bit Windows environment using 32-bit Data Protection for Lotus Domino 5.5.2.0 or earlier. After installing the fix for IC60425, all 32-bit backups can be restored using 64-bit Data Protection for Lotus Domino. However, any 32-bit backup created prior to the application of the fix still can not be restored using 64-bit Data Protection for Domino. This new APAR is intended to: - to lift the restriction related to 32-bit backups created before the application of the fix for IC60425 - to enable 32-bit Data Protection for Domino to restore 64-bit backups created prior to the application of the fix for IC60425.
Local fix
Install a 32-bit version of Data Protection for Domino on a 32-bit machine running a 32-bit Domino Server. Use the method for restoring Domino data to an alternate partition or server, as documented in the section titled: "Alternate server and alternate partition restores for NSF databases" located in the Data Protection for Domino User's Guide.
