Troubleshooting
Problem
There are two types of predefined outgoing chains used in service integration bus, namely BootstrapBasicMessaging and BootstrapSecureMessaging. When a chain name is not specified in the Provider endpoints property of the connection factory properties, the service integration bus defaults to either BootstrapBasicMessaging or BootstrapSecureMessaging based on the security settings. The problem occurs when an incorrect chain value is assigned as a default value; for example, BootstrapBasicMessaging is assigned as the default chain value instead of BootstrapSecureMessaging.
Resolving The Problem
If the chain name is not specified in the Provider endpoints property or if the default chain name specified is not correct, then you must specify the correct chain name in the Provider endpoints property.
The provider endpoint value must be specified in the following format:
hostname:7278:BootstrapBasicMessaging
In this example, hostname
is the host name, 7278
is the port number, and BootstrapBasicMessaging
is the chain name.
