Attempts to access the IBM Rational Rhapsody Modeling perspective using the Eclipse Platform integration results in the error "Problems opening perspective: 'com.ibm.rational.rhapsody.platformintegration.ui.perspectives.RhapsodyPerspective'".
Symptom
The following error occurs when accessing the Rhapsody Modeling perspective from Eclipse:
Cause
You are using a 64 bit version of Eclipse which is not supported.
Resolving The Problem
Reinstall a 32 bit version of Eclipse and Install the Platform Integration plugins.
This will ensure a working Platform Integration and allow you to open the Rhapsody Modeling perspective successfully.
