Error description
Unable to connect to self balanced Virtual IP address (VIP), although the VIP is actively listening on its assigned port. Also, note pings to the VIP are still successful. However, when displaying the status of the self-balanced services via CLI (show self) or WebGUI, it will show the service(s) with weights of zero. This can occur if the device had an extended period of inactivity (idle time).
Local fix
Device can be rebooted to restore the proper non-zero weights.
Problem summary
For the DataPower Application Optimization option, the weights for the self-balancing feature can go to and remain at a value of zero or one. This happens after a certain period of time.
Problem conclusion
This is fixed in 3.8.0.12, 3.8.1.11, 3.8.2.3, 4.0.0.0, XE82 1.0.0.0, and 4.0.1.0.
