WebSphere Application Server: JMS resources are not created if the topicSpace and queue resources are not defined in the messagingEngine configuration

Troubleshooting

Problem

By design, the queue or topicSpace resources must be defined in the messagingEngine configuration so that the jmsQueue and jmsTopic configuration can map to these resources. If you are creating a jmsQueue or jmsTopic that refers to a queue or topicSpace that is not already defined in the messagingEngine configuration, the queue or topicSpace is not created automatically by the messaging engine.

Resolving The Problem

Ensure that a queue or topicSpace resource is defined in the messagingEngine configuration.
