Error description
Internet Explorer v6 browser application crashes during API call to PCOM display session. Microsoft says its due to a invalid handle to a mutex being freed.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All HACL application users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HACL application may crash making API * * call to PCOMM display session. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** One of the handles was not closed properly so when the HACL application tried to work with this invalid handle, it would crash.
Problem conclusion
PCSECLVC.DLL and PCSWSAPI.DLL have been changed to properly close the handle after its use. Fix scheduled for PCOM 5.9.8 Manufacturing Refresh Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.2 Manufacturing Refresh
