ADMR0104E occurs when WebSphere Application Server is accessing profile directories using an AIX NFS client

Troubleshooting

Problem

Error ADMR0104E occurs when WAS is accessing profile directories using an AIX NFS client. This is fixed by AIX APAR IV30949.

Symptom

If WAS is accessing profile directories using an NFS client, ADMR0104E might occur during application rollout update.

This issue might occur only when updating hundreds of applications at the same time. The rollout update might complete even if the above error occurs.

Cause

Resolving The Problem

This condition can be avoided by synchronizing directory access at the application level so that only one deletion per directory is in progress at any time.
Please refer APAR IV30949 for a more complete description. No fixes are required for the WebSphere Application Server.
