Problem
Attempts to collect payments for partially shipped order with one order line in backorder status fails in IBM Sterling Order Management
Symptom
Steps to reproduce:
- Created an order with two lines from console.
- Schedule and release the lines.
First will be in release status and second line will be in backordered status.
- Next, ship the first line , invoice it and collect.
- Now, create appeasement on the shipped line which creates a credit memo.
Current behavior:
Collection is not carried out for the appeasement credit memo.
Expected behavior:
System should create a new record for appeasement amount in YFS_CHARGE_TRANSACTION.
Cause
System is not creating charge transaction record in YFS_CHARGE_TRANSACTION
Diagnosing The Problem
In this scenario, order has one more line, which needs to be fulfill and here the value of HoldAgainstBook flag is Y. If the value of flag HoldAgainstBook flag is Y then system will not create a immediate refund.
Resolving The Problem
To achieve the expected behavior, please check the flag Allow immediate refund to hold amount.
