Is it possible to export an enumerated attribute from IBM Rational DOORS to Microsoft Excel as a drop-down list ?
Cause
You need your enumerated values shown as a drop down list in Excel to make data entry easier
Answer
No. Rational DOORS will export an enumeration value as a single line entry in a cell. For multi-valued enumerations each selected value in DOORS is exported as a separate line entry in the table cell.
Note: When you export to Microsoft Excel, rich text formatting and special characters are not preserved. If you want to preserve rich text formatting, export to a Microsoft Word table, and then copy and paste the Word table into Excel.
