  • Customer observed unexpected state for default object
    "apiprobe-settings" when checking for "types" "down" in Object
    Status.
    It showed:

    The object has not processed any configuration
    Instead of below which would be the standard for default
    unconfigured objects:
    API Probe Settings
    apiprobe-settings [API Probe Settings]
    Saved
    down
    disabled
    Operational state down
    

Local fix

  • Associate the "default-gateway-peering" object to get
    a "good" persistable "disabled" "down" state.
    

Problem summary

  • The fix corrects the name of the default apiprobe-settings in
    the default configuration.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix will be in 2018.4.1.9
