  • Failure data capture (FDC) files are written with the following
details, and the queue manager immediately ends and cannot be
restarted.

Major Errorcode   :- hrcE_MQLP_EXT_BAD_FORMAT
Probe Description :- AMQ6762E: IBM MQ log extent  corrupt.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A very rare timing condition existed where two internal counters
in one of the Snnnnnnn.LOG files were being incorrectly
compared, due to a mistake in 16-bit arithmetic.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The mistake in the 16-bit arithmetic has been corrected.
