Error description

  • When running mqsiextractcomponents to create a new ACE v11
Integration Server from a IIB v9 execution group the JVM debug
port could be set to an invalid negative port number if the port
was disabled in the IIB v9 Broker backup.

Local fix

  • Edit the server.conf.yaml file generated by
    mqsiextractcomponents set jvmDebugPort to 0.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
After running mqsiextractcomponents to create a new ACE v11
Integration Server from a IIB v10/v9 integration server the JVM
debug port could be set to an invalid negative port number if
the port was disabled in the IIB v10/v9 Broker backup. This will
cause the ACE v11 server to report the following on startup:

BIP2211E: Invalid configuration attribute value '-NNNN', is not
    valid for target attribute 'jvmDebugPort', object 'jvm-manager';
    valid values are 'n = 0 - 65535'.".

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsiextractcomponents command is corrected to set the
'jvmDebugPort' in the new ACE v11 server to 0 when it is
disabled in the IIB v9/v10 backup.
