IT27206: THE GROUPCOMPLETE NODE DOES NOT EXPOSE ITS CATCH TERMINAL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The GroupComplete node has a 'catch' terminal but this is not
  exposed in the toolkit. This prevents flow designers from
  handling exceptions that reach the node.
  

Local fix

• A Try/Catch node can be placed immediately after each of the
  out/timeout/unknown terminals.
  

Problem summary

  All users of IBM Integration Bus v10 and IBM App Connect
  Enterprise v11 who use the Group Nodes for message aggregation.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  z/OS, MultiPlatform

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The GroupComplete node has a catch terminal that the runtime
  will attempt to propagate messages to if an exception rolls back
  the flow to the GroupComplete node. This terminal is not visible
  in the toolkit and so uncaught exceptions cannot be handled.
  

Problem conclusion

• The toolkit now correctly displays the catch terminal for the
  GroupComplete node.
