IT25434: DATABASEINPUT NODE UNABLE TO HANDLE EVENTS WITH NULL KEY VALUE

Error description

• If a DatabaseInput node encounters an exception when adding
  events to the dispatched event list or when merging new events,
  event processing may enter a loop that requires an integration
  server restart or the integration server process may abend with
  the following call stack:
  
  SqlEventCache::Mission::abort()
  SqlEventCache::Mission::Mission()
  SqlInputInterface::readData(SqlInputInterface::LocalContext*)
  ImbDatabaseInputNode::readData(ImbCallableTemplateNode::Executio
  nInstance&, int, ImbSemaphoreBase::Semaphore&, bool&,
  ImbCallableTemplateNode::OrderToken&)
  
  The injection of an event with a null key value may cause such
  an exception. This APAR will be used to improve the exception
  handling of the DatabaseInput node when handling the list of
  new events.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  If a DatabaseInput node encounters an exception when adding
  events to the dispatched event list or when merging new events,
  event processing may enter a loop that requires an integration
  server restart or the integration server process may abend with

  BIP2329E: An unexpected NULL value was encountered.
  

Problem conclusion

• The exception handling in the DatabaseInput node when updating
  the list of events to be dispatched has been improved. Bad
  events will be removed from the internal list, but when an event
  cannot be processed and deleted from the events input table
  manual intervention is required to remove the event from that
  table.
