APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A pattern is deployed to a Pure Application system Power server
using IBM MQ 9.0.0.2 and a GPFS client policy.  When the VM is
rebooted the SSHD service is inoperable.

When the pattern is  deployed with just MQ or just the GPFS
client policy, there is no issue.

Local fix

  • Restart the SSHD service manually.

later.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A programming error in MQ shutdown scripts caused the startup
scripts to hang which
prevented the sshd service from starting.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ shutdown scripts used by the MQ PureApplication Software
Component have been modified to correct the error.
