APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When executing a JDE request if there is a warning during
execution then the Adapter will attempt to set an element
called BSFNExecutionWarnings in the IIB DESPI model using the
    "indexed" setString method.
This method is not implemented in the IIB implementation and
this causes an exception to be thrown which causes processing
of the current message to be interrupted.
Since these are only warnings it is reasonable to expect that
the message flow should continue to process.
This APAR introduces a work around such that if the indexed
version of the setString method is called for an element with
the name BSFNExecutionWarnings then this will be permitted and
the value set as if the un-indexed version was called.
This means that the last value to be set will be retained in
the tree and all others will be over-written regardless of
    index.
