Error description
After a reboot of a new appliance the message "Notice: startup config contains errors." is written to the file logtemp:/startup-errors. The message relates to a property "gateway-peering" beeing missing. It gets displayed in error. Even though the related object is unconfigured, the pbject is is disabled by default. So the message should not be displayed unless the functionality is configured and enabled.
Local fix
n/a message is begnin, can be ignored when not using APIC and will not be displayed when configuring APIC.
Problem summary
APIGatewayCluster object in some instances may be persisted or exported without user creation of the object.
Problem conclusion
Ensure singleton objects which have not been created are not exported from the device or persisted to the device. Fixed In: 7.7.1.0
