Error description
Additional logging for secure backup is provided via this APAR. Messages can only be decrypted via a support PMR. With debug level logging messages of the form: (7.1.0.x - 7.6.0.x) Message 3 is specific to APAR IT23602: SBR#YYYYY OR (7.7.0.x +) Secure Backup Debug State: SBR#YYYYY This message does not indicate an error but rather defines additional logging in the event of a Secure Backup error.
Local fix
In certain scenarios the process of reinstalling the firmware image resolve this state.
Problem summary
Logging of Secure Backup does not yield sufficient information when timing out.
