Error description
Using the PCOMM v12.0 FTP Client, attempts to send files to host results in errors. . If I right click a PC file in the left column of the FTP Client and use 'Send files to host as' option, the file name I specify is not used. In my example, I am trying to upload a txt file and store it on the mainframe as 'SYS5.IBM.HOLDDATA.TEST'. I see the following commands and responses: . Command: TYPE A Response: 200 Representation type is Ascii NonPrint Command: PASV Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode ...... Command: STOR 'SYS5IBM Response: 550 Mismatched quotes on pathname 'SYS5IBM . This did work in previous releases of PCOMM (6.0.5)

Give the name of the file in the below format 'ABC.IBM.DATA.XYZ' 5. Click on send file to host 6. User will get the following response in FTP Client trace window: "550 Mismatched quotes on pathname 'ABCIBM'"
Problem conclusion
"FTP client: Enhanced support for z/OS datasets" enhancement implementation was causing this issue. PCSFTP.EXE and PCSFTPCMD.EXE have been changed to remove the enhancement. Fix scheduled for PCOMM 13.0.1.0 Refresh Pack and 12.0.4.2 Fix Pack
