NullPointerException error when updating a shared library SCA asset

Troubleshooting


Problem

When updating a shared library Service Component Architecture (SCA) asset, a NullPointerException error might occur, causing the update operation to fail.

Symptom

The message that is written to the error log resembles:

Resolving The Problem

Deploy all SCA applications that use the shared library asset again.

This is resolved in Fix Pack 8.5.5.1
