Error description
If you run the UPDATE VOLUME server command for a container-copy storage pool and specify ACCESS=OFFSITE, the command fails with the following error message: ANR2117E UPDATE VOLUME: Access mode for volume xxxx cannot be changed to "offsite" - volume either does not belong to a copy storage pool or from a device class of DEVTYPE=SERVER. The UPDATE VOLUME command needs to be modified to allow offsite tape rotation for container-copy storage pool volumes.
