Error description
When logs are requested from a customer, they run service.bat (Windows servers) and service.sh (Unix servers). In 5.2.13, the service tool fails to collect the javacore and heap dump files from the WebSphere directories: <TPC_install_dir>\wlp\usr\servers\deviceServer <TPC_install_dir>\wlp\usr\servers\alertServer RECREATE STEPS: Run service.bat/service.sh, collect the resulting SCServiceFiles*.zip and notice no core or dump files collected. ________________________________________________________________ DB2 Version used for Server: N/A The defect is against component: 5608TPC00 Server/Manager build/release (TPC): 5.2.13 ________________________________________________________________ Problem as described by customer: support/development doesn't have needed core/dump files Initial customer impact (low/med/high): low
