APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When STATCHL set to OFF on both queue manager and at channel or
when STATCHL to set to OFF at queue manager and QMGR at channel
level, a statistics message is generated for the channel to
SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE. This is unexpected behavior as no
statistics messages should be generated with STATCHL set to OFF.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A logic error in the queue manager's channel statistics code
caused the STATCHL attribute to be ignored when generating
channel statistics messages.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The queue manager's channel statistics code has been modified to
correctly consider whether STATCHL is set to OFF before
generating statistics messages for a channel.
