Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users of MQ V8 and later with channel event monitoring enabled. Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The MQRC_CHANNEL_AUTO_DEF_OK event message was not correctly generated during the initialization of an auto-receiver channel.
Problem conclusion
The MQ 7.0.0.x product generated the MQRC_CHANNEL_AUTO_DEF_OK event before the auto-defined receiver channel had completed the adoption of the appropriate security context. This was changed in MQ 7.0.1.x of the product however the MQRC_CHANNEL_AUTO_DEF_OK event was not produced. The channel initialization code has been changed to allow the generation of the MQRC_CHANNEL_AUTO_DEF_OK event in the same way as the MQ 7.0.0.x product. The following properties can be added to the Channels stanza of the qm.ini file Channels: ChadEarlyCreate=[Yes | No] ChadEarlyStartEvent=[Yes | No] The default settings are ChadEarlyCreate=No ChadEarlyStartEvent=No Only customers who have a dependency on the MQ 7.0.0.x behavior of auto-defined channel events should consider implementing this property. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v8.0 8.0.0.8 v9.0 CD 9.0.4 v9.0 LTS 9.0.0.2 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from 'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006037 If the maintenance level is not yet available information on its planned availability can be found in 'WebSphere MQ Planned Maintenance Release Dates' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006309 ---------------------------------------------------------------
