Can you change the folder where the intermediate file is beeing generated in IBM Rational Rhapsody Gateway?

Cause

Based on your requirement, you might be forced to customize the intermediate file location.

Answer

It is not possible to customize the intermediate folder generated by Rhapsody Gateway.

The intermediate file is created on the file system either in TEMP when the "intermediate file" option is not checked, or in the intermediate folder in the Rational Rhapsody project.

Note: Regarding the TEMP folder, Rhapsody Gateway uses a system primitive to retrieve the directory path and you can change this directory using the TEMP environment variable. Intermediate files are created there and they are normally deleted once they are parsed but the files may remain if there is a critical reload failure or crash.
