Error description
Transactions might hang on cached document revalidation or the appliance might restart.
Local fix
Problem summary
Affected are Datapower configurations with Document Cache Policy configured and caching enabled in XML Manager object. When a cached document is revalidated, and the revalidation fails, the appliance might restart in specific cases, generating a backtrace, or the transaction affected may hang, possibly resulting in memory leak. Currently the only manifestations known are those that match the following conditions: the cached documents originate from HTTPS URLs and are requested from a scheduled rule and the appliance is executing quiesce command. Other scenarios may exist as well, though.
Problem conclusion
The fix is available in 6.0.0.18, 6.0.1.14, 7.0.0.11, 7.1.0.8 and 7.2.0.2 For a list of the latest fixpacks available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
